Over the years, Wellington Regional Business Excellence Awards have been awarded to New Zealand’s most successful businesses, organisations and industry leaders.
Our awards are split up into two types of categories. Special Categories and Business Categories. The overall winner from the Business Categories was awarded the Supreme Business Of The Year Award.

Details of The Awards
The official presentation of the awards took place at the Awards Gala Evening on Friday 15 November 2024 at the Lower Hutt Events Centre. The event had over 450 attendees.
Sharesies Ltd was awarded the Supreme Business of the Year Award.
For the first time ever, the Awards inducted four businesses into the Hall of Fame. These were J Tomlinson & Co Ltd / JT Group, Arrow Uniforms, & Black Diamond Technologies Limited.
Entries closed on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 5pm. In 2024, we had the highest amount of entries ever recorded in the 16 years that the award had been run.
Finalists were announced and celebrated at our Finalist Function on Thursday, October 17th 2023 sponsored by Waihanga Ara Rau – Workforce Development Council for Construction and Infrastructure.
