Fat is Not your Fault - Presented by Haley Holmes

 

How many stories have we told ourselves that being fat is not our fault?  It’s in my genes to be fat, my friends are too social, I have a high stressed job, I have a really slow metabolism, and the one I hear a lot ….I just don’t have time to eat healthy or I can’t afford it.

 

Healthy eating and exercise will always come at a cost to your time, just like unhealthy eating does.  The benefits of healthy eating and exercise will however FAR out way, any time and monetary costs you may think you gain with the convenience of unhealthy, high caloric food.   Your healthy life will provide you with more productive time; your unhealthy life will just rob you of time in the long run.

 

What if I told you that you may be able to find out the missing puzzle pieces that make being fat not your fault?  By learning this you can alter the way you approach how your body is reacting to the current food you give it and then correct any contributing factors that you may not know can be causing you to store more body fat.

 

I have been a personal trainer at Les Mills for 13 years and have seen and studied a variety of lifestyle dietary implementations in hundreds of people’s lives.  There is NEVER a one size fits all approach to eating, there are basics we can try and get right, but what happens when we are doing all the right things and getting no results?  Being able to narrow down the right approach to YOU is a learning journey that we all should know.
