Sean Westbrook, AROTEC Diagnostics Limited

AROTEC Diagnostics Limited www.arodia.com - has been producing and delivering the highest quality, critical components to the autoimmune diagnostic industry for over 25 years. Based in Wellington, New Zealand, AROTEC has grown over the years to become a valued and trusted supplier of premium reagents to both IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic) companies and research and academic groups around the world.

Sean Westbrook is the current Managing Director at AROTEC Diagnostics Limited based in Wellington, New Zealand, where he has been since September 2022 and comes with over two decades of experience in commercial leadership roles across pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.

Prior to joining AROTEC, Sean was a Global Commercial Executive at Aspen Pharmacare Group where he provided Strategic Executive Leadership in the territories of the USA, Europe, Latin America, North America, Middle East North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa. 

Marina Rajic, BioViros

Dr. Marina Rajič is Founder and CEO of BioViros Ltd., a biotechnology company focused on lentiviral vector manufacturing for cell therapies. Marina’s mission is to play a significant part in bettering the lives of millions around the world, which she strives to achieve by providing viral vectors for clinical trials for life changing cell therapies. She sees New Zealand well suited for producing a high-value product and attracting the world talent within the biotech sector.

Marina enjoys connecting with both clients and investors. Before founding BioViros, she worked as a Senior Business Development Manager at Leukocare in Munich, Germany. She enjoyed the fast pace and highly dynamic environment where she helped international clients find solutions for their biological drug products.

Garry Peek, Peek Robotics

Garry Peek is the founder and director of both Radium and Peek Robotics. Radium is a successful software company based in Lower Hutt and specialising in processing financial and loyalty transactions. Having stepped out of the day-to-day running of Radium a few years ago, Garry failed at retirement, due in part to Covid travel restrictions. This resulted in the founding Peek Robotics which allowed Garry to indulge his passion for all things tech.

Peek Robotics design and build autonomous platforms that leverage advances in vision processing, motor drive systems and battery technology.

Peek Robotics leverages advances in technologies such as vision processing, motor drive systems and battery technology to build autonomous platforms capable of diverse agricultural tasks. The prototype platform ‘Grover’ has the ability to scale and customise the mechanical chassis to meet a variety of environmental conditions and functional needs of users.
