Sarah Kerr | GM People and Culture at the Institute of Directors

Sarah is the GM People and Culture at the Institute of Directors where her focus is on building a high-performing and inclusive team culture. Prior to joining the IoD, Sarah was human resource manager at Beef + Lamb New Zealand, a specialist recruiter for Rob Law Max Recruitment and worked in the hospitality industry sector, including as a business owner. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from Victoria University of Wellington and a Chartered Member of HRNZ. Outside of work, Sarah is married to Andy and they have two primary school aged boys. Her weekends are spent catching up with friends and family, on the football sideline, keeping weeds at bay in the garden and, when feeling fit, chasing their dog Kobra up Mt Kau Kau.

Srishty Merlin Sequeira | Principal HR Advisor, Holidays Act Project, Health New Zealand

Originally from India, Srishty made the life-changing decision to move to New Zealand in 2017, where she restarted her career in Human Resources. Since then, Wellington has become home, and she’s been working passionately towards her version of the Kiwi dream.

While balancing the demands of her role as Principal HR Advisor for the Holidays Act Project at Health New Zealand, Srishty is a proud mother of two—her beautiful daughter and her goofy dog, who never fail to keep life interesting. Her personal journey has taught her the power of resilience and the importance of believing in possibilities, which she carries into her professional life.

A firm believer in manifestation, Srishty sees every challenge as an opportunity to grow, and her experience has been a testament to the power of intention and hard work. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, baking, and spending quality time with family and friends—always finding joy in the little moments that make life sweet.
