This workshop provides a comprehensive overview of continuous improvement for leaders covering the benefits of continuous improvement, the leaders' vital and specific role in continuous improvement, the vital steps in realising significant performance improvements, and how AI can be leveraged to accelerate performance improvements.

A rich and deep dive into the leader's role in embedding continuous improvement into your organisation's culture. This session also examines how AI can support and accelerate performance improvements. From this session, leaders will know how they can initiate and build continuous improvement work in their teams which includes providing better visibility of performance. Specific objectives of this capability build include:

• Defining continuous improvement and the essential principles to start improving performance.
• The leader’s role in continuous improvement, and the crucial behaviours and team culture that support the adoption of continuous improvement by the team.
• A comprehensive overview of the four essential steps, including their sequence, required to drive improvements in operations and processes.
• Capturing and reacting to customer insights to drive significant performance improvement.
• Measures that drive the right behaviours in our teams and how targets can destroy improvement.
• Properly capturing and articulating all the benefits of improvements for better benefit realisation.

Learning outcomes and after course impact and support:

• Skills to determine process health and improve visibility of team performance, and to make the right performance improvements.
• Techniques to identify and respond to the right problems with confidence and courage.
• Practical ways to realise, capture, and communicate benefits from improvement work.
• Ability to determine immediate opportunities for improvement using AI—without needing IT upgrades.
