Fraser Engineering worked closely with the nurses and medical staff at Hutt Hospital to develop a comfortable face shield for essential workers. “The team at the hospital were awesome to work with,” reflected General Manager, Martin Simpson.
In the early stages of lockdown Fraser Engineering had supplied hospital staff with 3000 visers and delivered 300 full shields all on short notice.
Meeting a potential production run of 5,000-10,000 per day is a superb win for the Hutt Valley, made possible by utilising the labour force and technology already existing from other talented companies in the Hutt.
These face shields have been designed to be super lightweight and comfortable, while being produced at a very reasonable price.
Hutt City Council Mayor, Campbell Barry interviews Martin Fraser from Fraser Engineering and finds out what the company got up to during lockdown, and beyond.
