BNZ Technology Series
Over 50 people came together to hear from three world-class speakers at the BNZ Partners Centre on 28 July.
Our speakers:
- Nick Long, Director of the Paihau-Robinson Research Institute shared the technology behind improving rocket propulsion efficiency
- Fraser Foote, Managing Director of the Wellington Electric Boat Building Company, explained advancements in marine technology with direct reference to how his company has designed and built the first fully-electric high performance passenger ferry in the southern hemisphere
- Terry Miller shared the latest technology with us in virtual reality vehicle training – an invention that is so popular he has secured Defence Force contracts and worldwide interest in his virtual vehicle, NOVA
After each talk, there was opportunity for Q&A, with plenty of networking taking place prior to and following the event.
The evening ended with our usual business card prize draw, with a gift basket full of treats made in the Hutt Valley won by Gaylene Hughes of JDI Business Coaching.
