Tony McKone

Owner, McKone Consultancy

I have been a member of the Hutt Valley Chamber since establishing my business, McKone Consultancy, in 2013. I have the privilege of working with a variety of small and medium sized businesses in our region as well as across New Zealand.

I bring 16 years of sound governance experience and an ear to members’ needs to the Board. I believe this gives me a valuable insight for overseeing the growth and success of our Chamber.

Should members see fit to re-elect me I would be humbled and honoured to serve a further term.

Michael Markham

Owner, PKF Kendons

Michael is a Director and CEO of PKF Kendons, a local accounting and advisory business based in Lower Hutt. A Chartered Accountant (CAANZ) with a Public Practice Certificate, and a Qualified Auditor, Michael has been actively involved in the audit and accounting environment for over 15 years.

In addition to his role at Kendons, Michael is also a Trustee of the Laura Fergusson Trust Wellington, Christine Taylor Foundation for Mental Health, Barbershop Harmony New Zealand and Chairman of Young Singers in Harmony Trust New Zealand.

Outside of his governance and professional roles, Michael keeps himself busy heavily involved with his young family and in the barbershop community both as a singer and performance judge.

Dene Cable

As the Group Broking Manager of Crombie Lockwood Hutt Valley branch Dene has a wealth of knowledge in the insurance sector with over 10 years in the industry ranging from Claims, Domestic Broking, Commercial Broking and now leadership.

Dene is passionate about protecting our local business and helping the Hutt Valley thrive with confidence they have protected their business risks. Along with Denes experience he has an open door policy for all Hutt Valley business’ and bases himself on Market Grove in Lower Hutt to be readily available.

June Ranson

CEO of Woburn International & Licensed Immigration Adviser

Company established 1991. The reputation of June and her team quickly grew.
As a way of making sure that the industry is serving their customers and stakeholders. June became actively involved with the New Zealand Association of Migration & Investment in 2010. Her role as Chair of the NZAMI from 2014 to 2022 demonstrates the depth of knowledge and standing that June has in the industry. Now Political Chair of NZAMI, she is the conduit between Industry and Government.

June has worked and lived in many countries. Managed extensive training and development projects across the globe major focus on assignments encouraging the growth of international skills into NZ plus cross-cultural understanding and integration.
