Commercial Lease Agreements Under Alert Level 3
Rhys Williams from Gibson Sheat Lawyers provides an update on commercial leases in this livestream replay from 28 April.
For tenants with a clause 27.5 in their lease who are still not able to operate fully from their premises, there will still be some rent relief available under at least Level 3 even if they regain access.
Rhys covers this and also provides some guidance on what is already happening in the market in terms of agreements being reached on what is a fair reduction. He also touches on some dispute options if agreement cannot be reached between the tenant and landlord. Further information here.
