Targeted Training and Apprenticeship Fund (TTAF)
TTAF supports learners to undertake vocational education and training WITHOUT FEES.
The Details
- Fees are free from 1 July 2020 until 31 December 2022
- Fees are paid directly to the Tertiary Education Organisations to provide education to the learners without fee payment
- This funding is attached to the study programme and does not affect fee’s free eligibility. You may still use your fees free funding for future study
- Study in these areas is covered by the Fund:
- ALL apprenticeships
- Level 3-7 sub-degree programmes in targeted areas that are delivered by tertiary providers
- Industry training in targeted areas that are outside of apprenticeships. These areas are Primary Industry, Construction, Community support, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering and Road Transport, (vehicle operations). See table below
- When a student enrols for an eligible programme of study, they are automatically covered by the Fund, they do not need to apply separately.
