Hutt City Council's Long Term Plan 2021-2031
The Long Term Plan for Hutt City will have direct impact to the business community. As a Chamber we have advocated loudly on behalf of the business community at each stage of public consultation.
Prior to Christmas 2020, during the pre-engagement phase, we took the opportunity to present some initial considerations to Council on behalf of the local business community.
In early February 2021 we followed up with more detailed feedback.
When the plan was available for full consultation, we hosted two events (in April 2021) specifically focused on ensuring the business community understands the implications of the plan and providing the opportunity to give feedback to Council.
In May 2021 before submissions closed, we followed up with a final submission to Council including additional feedback provided by the business community.
