Our 77th AGM was held on Tuesday, 25 May 2021
Mark Skelly, President, welcomed Chamber members to the 77th Annual General Meeting. Apologies were received and minutes of the 2020 AGM were approved as a true and correct record, with no matters arising. The adoption of the President’s report was accepted.
The President acknowledged outgoing Board Members, Andy Barker and Hayden Kirk, giving thanks for their service, their dedication and support to the Chamber. Resigning CEO Helen Down was presented with Chamber Lifetime Membership and flowers for her long service to the Chamber. Neville Hyde was also awarded Lifetime Membership for his extended service to the Board.
President Mark Skelly and Vice President Dave Morgan were unopposed and were re-elected. The President acknowledged co-opted members and welcomed the newly elected Board Members, Michael Markham, Dene Cable and Tony McKone (re-elected) to the Board.
The President thanked everyone for their attendance and members were invited to join the Chamber Board for refreshments. The meeting closed later than usual, at 7:30pm, due to tied votes for the board positions, requiring a second and third voting round.
