The Fire Australia 2021 conference dinner took place in Sydney on Wednesday, 12 May 2021, where Managing Director, David Percy was presented with the FPA Australia Meritorious Service Award. The award recognises Pertronic Industries long-standing commitment to fire protection in Australia.

Pertronic fire detection and alarm systems have been sold and supported in Australia since 1999, when Pertronic Industries opened an office in Melbourne. Since then, Pertronic Industries representatives have regularly contributed as members of the Fire Detection and Alarm Systems Technical Advisory Committee (TAC/2). TAC/2 supports the development of Australian fire protection standards. In addition, Pertronic Industries has been a regular sponsor and participant in FPAA events such as the annual Fire Australia conference and trade show.

After the award dinner, David Percy said, “While it is great to have the personal recognition, this would not have been possible without the contribution that Pertronic staff have made toward our successes in Australia.”
