Student Site Visits

In 2020 we launched our Education to Employment programme, which aims to raise the profile of vocational trade opportunities across the Hutt Valley.

Chamber members Armstrong Downes Commercial took part in our first site visit and hosted a group of students from Wainuiomata High School, to give them a first-hand understanding of construction trades.

This student site visit took place in July 2020. Wainuiomata High School students had the opportunity to see learn about this local trade first-hand and open their eyes to working in the construction industry.
