Climate Change Workshop

Description

As we head towards a Carbon Zero future, it’s important for us to start talking about the challenges this presents for businesses in the Hutt Valley.

Our country has declared a climate emergency and set a target of net zero carbon emissions by 2050. Achieving this target means the government and all individuals, businesses and communities need to take prompt action to limit global warming.

This is a big task, requiring a collective response from everyone.  It is critical we understand the needs, perspectives and challenges businesses will face in responding and adapting in the face of the climate crisis.

Come along, make connections, find out what others are doing, and share your experiences and knowledge. Our business community is vital to our country's success, regional response and local impact.

Your perspectives and priorities will feed into a community-wide climate change response and will help shape what we need to do for a resilient and prosperous Hutt Valley.
