Room Hire

Choose from a spacious board room, training room or smaller meeting room. All rooms (except the small yellow meeting room) enjoy views looking out over the Hutt River.

There are plenty of options available to meet current social distancing rules. Rooms can also combine to meet your particular requirements.

Rooms are available to the general public, with special rates for Chamber members. All rooms are fully air conditioned with tea/coffee facilities available, wireless internet and individual entry. We are happy to arrange catering for you. Please call us to discuss your requirements.

Member Rate:Free (max 1 hour per week); $22.50 + GST thereafter
Non-member Rate:$26.50 + GST per hour

Meeting Rooms for Large Gatherings

You can choose from the Training Room or Board Room, or if you need a larger space, the Training Room, Board Room and Small Meeting Room can all be combined to accommodate a larger number of people.

The larger spaces can be set up in many different ways to utilise the space however it suits your training or presentation best. Talk to us about your plans.

Room Hire – Terms and Conditions

Confirmation of a Room Booking: Dependent on which room or rooms are booked the use of the projector, projector screen, whiteboard and tea/coffee/milk and water are all complimentary.

If the number of guests exceeds the final number given within 72 hours’ notice, we will do our best to accommodate them, but they may not exceed our maximum room capacity for fire safety reasons.

Catering: If we are arranging catering, the expected number of guests must be advised at least 7 days prior to the event with the final confirmation of numbers no later than 72 hours prior to the event.

We can order your catering with our preferred suppliers or you are welcome to book and use your own preferred catering company.

Cancellations: Cancellations or no shows on the day will incur 50% of the room hire.

Catering Cancellations: Late cancellation fees may be charged by external catering company.

Final Payment: All meeting and training room bookings are to be fully paid on the 20th of the month following the date of the invoice.

Hours of Operation: Normal hours of operation for Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce are between 8:00am and 5.00pm weekdays (except for public holidays).
