Patrick McKibbin


Patrick joined the team in September 2021.  He is an experienced leader that creates, facilitates and delivers innovative and practical strategy and ideas delivering positive results for individuals, teams, business, customers, agencies, and partner organisations. Patrick’s passion is identifying and connecting information and conversations to opportunities that deliver effective outcomes for all. He empowers and mentors people to succeed as individuals and as part of a team, delivering positive outcomes for personal and business.

Patrick is passionate about customer centric design thinking in all aspects of business and his skills and experience allow him to deliver outcomes that make a difference to organisations, their customers, and their people. As a leader he works towards creating a culture that is dedicated to customers, team, learning, communication, collaboration, and results, allowing individual and business growth while having fun along the journey.

Andrew Dunne Employ Coordinator

Andrew Dunne

Employment Coordinator

Andrew has joined our team in the employment space and is keen to start meeting local employers who are looking for employees.

Andrew will be working with the 25-35 age group, matching suitable candidates with the right employers to help fill local labour shortages.

Amanda Walters

Education to Employment Coordinator

Amanda is the Education to Employment Coordinator for the Hutt Valley. She has extensive experience in working with both schools, employers and MoE, having previously undertaken a similar role within the Porirua area. She has worked at Secondary schools, within the Supported Learning and Careers Advisor areas and taught both adults and youth at Whitireia.

Amanda has a passion for ensuring youth have all the information that they need with regards to careers and further training opportunities, to ensure they are well prepared and successful in their chosen career pathway. Annette Wasson

Events & Training Coordinator

As Events and Training Coordinator, Annette manages the delivery of the Chamber’s events and business training workshops. Annette also works closely with our Members and Partners to deliver services and run events.

Annette has worked in hospitality and events in Wellington and overseas for a number of years. Passionate about customer service and guest experience and with extensive experience in event coordination and event delivery, Annette thrives on organising and running successful events.

Fiona Mawley

Finance and Project Management

Fiona has joined the HVCC team to support the delivery of the objectives of the Chamber’s COVID-19 Recovery and Support programme to the local business community. Fiona will ensure that our accounting processes are efficient and on target with our current and future strategic plans and objectives. Her role is to provide day to day care for Chamber Members, non-members, Partners and Stakeholders, while providing excellent value to all members.

Fiona is Hawke’s Bay born and bred and is now a “big city” girl who brings with her a wealth of knowledge from governance to manufacturing and production. Digital Marketing Coordinator | Communications Coordinator | Marketing and Communications Coordinator in Wellington

Raul Enrique is the new Marketing and Communications Coordinator for the Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Raul joined our Chamber team at the beginning of the year. Raul holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma in Web Design. He brings with him experience in digital marketing, direct marketing, web design, customer experience management as well as experience running his own digital marketing business.

Raul is passionate about helping local businesses grow through effective marketing. As a Hutt Valley local he is passionate about the Valley and is excited to work with and support all of our members, the business community and the wider community through the work the Chamber does.

We are really pleased to welcome Raul to the team.

Rebecca Reid

Public Relations & Media

Rebecca is passionate about working with local businesses and driven to get their stories told in all forms of media. Rebecca is contracted to the Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce to facilitate our advocacy work on behalf of the business community.

A former journalist, Rebecca has a strong news sense and knows how to tell a story and get it in front of an audience. Rebecca has 20+ years experience and owns her own company, Arriba PR. Rebecca is an important part of our team, ensuring promotion of the Hutt Valley Chamber’s advocacy work such as Manufacturing and Technology, Education to Employment and our Covid Support Programme.

Rebecca conducts interviews for us with local businesses and works directly with media outlets to support our comprehensive advocacy programme as a very loud voice for the business community.
