Focusing on local businesses that are leading the way in science, technology, and innovation right here in the Hutt Valley and Wellington region. 

This session is hosted by BNZ and are an opportunity to network with like-minded people from our business community whilst showcasing three speakers sharing what their organisations are working on.

Asantha Wijeyeratne | Chief Executive | PaySauce

With a background in accounting and payroll, Asantha earned his stripes at SmartPayroll, which he built up to over 10,000 customers. in 2015, he co-founded PaySauce with a drive to bring small businesses the freedom of 21st-Century technology. By putting the customer first, Asantha aims to bring awesome change to people at work. 

In recognition of his contribution to business and the community, he was awarded a Queens Service Medal (QSM) in the New Year's honour list in 2013 and is a finalist in Ernst & Young's 2021 Entrepreneur of the Year. 

Dan Stemp | Chief Customer Officer | JNCTN

Dan has been actively involved in the Identity sector for 15 years, having worked in the card bureau business, developing relationships with the Banking sector with Mastercard/Visa requirements, along with identity needs for students in both secondary schools and universities throughout NZ. He works closely with clients and the feedback he gains is a key to his role guiding our product roadmap. 

Heather Goode | Technical, Quality & Colour Services Manager | Dulux NZ

Heather holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry and has played a key role at Dulux in the product stewardship and sustainability space. She has worked in the paint industry for over two decades.
