Some form of project management exists in virtually every industry.  This one day workshop provides an overview of project management which will get you on track to reach the project goal.

This workshop is based on the international Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) - a guide that serves to provide and encourage a common terminology.

Topics:

  • What can be classed as a project?
  • The areas of PMBOK
  • Scoping of a project - what to include and what to exclude
  • The phases of a project and what to do during each phase
  • What to do if you run out of time, money or resources
  • Closing a project and hand over

As a result of attending this one day training participants will:

  • Plan for a successful project
  • Create a project scope - what's in and what's out
  • Identify the project life cycle, mitigate risks and plan budget contingency
  • Implement projects steps and complete project reporting
  • Understand the needs of stakeholder groups

All participiants receive a workbook and templates to take away.
